Emily G. Najem, Corporate Counsel and Director of Strategic Communications, Office of Technology Commercialization. Najem drafts, negotiates and facilitates execution of license agreements on behalf of Purdue Research Foundation. After execution of such agreements, Najem works with and monitors licensee compliance. Najem also heads up OTC outreach efforts and develops industry communication strategies and techniques for unlicensed technologies.
Najem holds a B.S. degree from Krannert School of Management, Purdue University and a J.D. degree from Indiana University Robert J. McKinney School of Law. Prior to joining Purdue Research Foundation, Emily worked as an associate attorney at Lewis & Kappes, P.C. where she assisted clients with a variety of business and transactional matters.
What time period do you think would be the most fun to live in and why? The 1920s so I could be friends with Lady Mary Crawley.
How would you explain thunder and lightning to a frightened child? How it was explained to me, it is the angels bowling in heaven and the lightning is for every strike.
